President's Message
Welcome to the 91ֿ's accreditation website.
Accreditation is a voluntary, continuous process in which our college evaluates itself against the rigorous institutional accountability standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). SACSCOC is the regional body for the accreditation of degree-granting higher education institutions in the Southern states; including, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Latin America and other international sites approved by the Commission on Colleges that award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral degrees.
The board of trustees, administration, faculty and staff of 91ֿ take great pride in keeping educational quality at the forefront of all we do and maintaining accreditation with SACSCOC is an important way in which we assure our community (local, state and national) of the quality of our educational endeavors. Accreditation also:
- Offers students access to federal financial aid.
- Facilitates the transfer of course credits to other institutions.
- Promotes excellence in such areas as curriculum, faculty credentials, and student services.
- Positions NTCC as a preferred choice against non-accredited institutions.
I invite you to browse this site to learn more about our college’s compliance with accrediting standards.
91ֿ exists to provide responsible, exemplary learning opportunities to all we serve.
Dr. Ron Clinton, President
