QuickBooks Level I


A 3-week course on Wednesday afternoons beginning April 18 and ending May 2


$175.00 Includes Workbook

This hands-on course provides an introduction to QuickBooks and accounting principles, essentials of working with customer transactions, vendor transactions, online banking features, and creating QuickBooks files from scratch. By the end of this course, participants will be well prepared for the challenges presented in QuickBooks Level II. Laptop provided for training purposes.

Prerequisites: Computer experience and basic accounting knowledge.

QuickBooks Level II


A 3-week course on Wednesday afternoons beginning May 16 and ending May 30


$175.00 Includes Workbook

This hands-on course builds on the concepts introduced in QuickBooks Level I and introduces physical inventory and sales tax, setting up and using QuickBooks for payroll, and dealing with the "other" accounts sometimes found on balance sheets (other current assets and long-term liabilities). The estimating and time tracking features are explored, as is the use of classes to categorize data. Participants will also learn how to make general journal entries, customize QuickBooks reports, create custom templates, and close the books. Laptop provided for training purposes.
