The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program at Northeast Texas Community†College recently learned that its graduating class of 2011 had a 100% pass rate on the†first attempt for its state licensure exams. According to program director†Nancy Wilson, this is the fourth year in a row that the program has had all†students pass on the first try.

?Typically, you will see a 100% pass rate of a graduating class every 5-8†years. I can honestly say that no other PTA school in Texas has accomplished something like this,? Wilson said.

The PTA program at NTCC is a competitive, 17-month program that prepares†students for a career as a state licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. For†more information about the program - including career tracks, admissions†criteria, etc. - visit or call 903-434-8124.
