Theatre

Our comprehensive field of study enables students to develop a thorough understanding of the discipline of theatre – its processes, products, and its unique ability to capture with depth and passion the truths of the human experience. Curriculum courses educate students in ancient Greek theatre, script analysis, beginning acting, advanced scene study, vocal techniques for the actor, and Stagecraft.

We have two modern performance venues on campus: the 600 seat Whatley Center for the Performing Arts with a proscenium, revolving stage. This space has “state of the art†computerized lighting and sound. Our other space is an intimate studio theatre with flexible seating for arena style productions.
