NTCC conducts Train the Trainer course at Mid America Pet Foods

From May 8th to May 10th, 91²Ö¿â conducted a comprehensive Train the Trainer course at Mid America Pet Foods' industry site. This intensive program was designed to equip supervisors with effective content delivery skills tailored for the workplace. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in interactive sessions and practical exercises, enhancing their ability to train their teams efficiently.

Texas Pioneer Foundation gives $60,000 for Work4College

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received $60,000 from the Texas Pioneer Foundation to support the Work4College Program. Dr. Jonathan McCullough (left), NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement, is pictured receiving the check from Fred Markham on behalf of the foundation. The funds will be used to cover costs associated with the Work4College Program, which allows students to earn money for college through meaningful campus jobs during the summer.

Kerry Wooten elected to NTCC Board of Trustees

The 91²Ö¿â Board of Trustees held a special called meeting on Monday, May 13th at noon. The only action item was to canvass the May 4th Board of Trustee election returns. Place Seven on the NTCC Board of Trustees was up for election and there were two candidates: Lance Walsh and Kerry Wooten. Election results were as follows:

Lance Walsh- 363

Under the supervision of the Controller, execute general ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting and data verification.  Preparation of student invoices to third parties and collection of outstanding balances, assist with the student registration process and perform daily reconciliation of all monetary receipts.  Works very closely with both internal and external customers.

Adult Education to host GED graduation on May 16

The 91²Ö¿â Adult Education and Literacy program will hold its General Education Development (GED) commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. All students who have completed the NTCC GED program during the program year will be honored. Live streaming will be available for family and friends who are unable to attend in person.  A brief reception will be held in the Whatley Center foyer after the commencement ceremony.
