Flashback oldies concert coming to Whatley Center April 10

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91²Ö¿â is pleased to host Flashback, Louisiana’s premier oldies show band, on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Their show, “At The Hopâ€, is a 1950's-60's" rock ‘n roll show that will bring back some wonderful memories of the songs that were popular when life in our country was so much simpler! 

NTCC Art to host exhibit featuring the art of Steven Barker

The 91²Ö¿â Art Department will host its first exhibit of the 2018-2019 school year September 7-26 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. A collection of drawings and watercolors by Steven Barker will be on display for public viewing during this time. A reception with the artist will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley foyer.

Whatley Center announces 2018-2019 show lineup

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91²Ö¿â recently announced its 2018-2019 entertainment lineup. Season tickets are on sale now and individual ticket sales begin Wednesday, Aug. 15.

The Entertainment Series, which is included in all Friends of the Whatley season ticket packages, kicks off with the 3 Redneck Tenors on September 25. They are a ?new breed? of tenors, combining musical comedy with classically-trained singers to create a truly entertaining experience. The 3 Redneck Tenors are sponsored by Ruby R. Neely.

J.T. and Kaye Brison sponsor The Bellamy Brothers at the Whatley Center

J.T. and Kaye Brison recently gave $3,000 to sponsor the upcoming performance of The Bellamy Brothers at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91²Ö¿â. The Bellamy Brothers to perform at the Whatley Center April 9

Lee Greenwood to perform at the Whatley Center

The Whatley Center at 91²Ö¿â will host a concert by country music icon Lee Greenwood on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. All tickets are $35 and are available for purchase online at†. The performance is sponsored by John and Betty Traylor.

Whatley Center to host Mount Pleasant Art Society Show

The 91²Ö¿â Art Department will host the Mount Pleasant Art Society Annual Membership Show March 10-30 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The competitive show features artwork from a variety of local artists. A reception will be held Saturday, March 10 from 2:00-3:30 p.m., where the winners will be announced. The gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Please call 903-434-8181 to ensure that the gallery is open before you come to visit.
