Richard and Margaret Perryman give $2,750 to NTCC Work Scholarship Program

Richard and Margaret Perryman recently gave $2,750 to support the 91²Ö¿â Work Scholarship Program. Specifically, they sponsored a luncheon that is held at the end of each summer to recognize work scholarship students, supervisors and donors. Al and Sue Havenstrite give $5,000 for scholarships

Al and Sue Havenstrite recently gave $5,000 to support scholarships at 91²Ö¿â. All funds given to scholarship endowments will be matched dollar-for-dollar through the Title V grant program, doubling the contribution. Thomas and April Bliss establish NTCC scholarships

Thomas and April Bliss recently presented the 91²Ö¿â Foundation with $2,000 to establish two scholarships. The Sharon Bliss Memorial scholarship is in memory of Thomas? mother,†who had a long career as a respiratory therapist.†This scholarship†will benefit a student studying health sciences at NTCC. The Bradyn Dawn Loy Memorial Scholarship†was established†in memory of the Mount Vernon High School student and friend of the Bliss family who passed away last year.

NTCC Golf Classic ends in a tie

The 91²Ö¿â Golf Classic raised more than $7,000 for the NTCC Foundation this year.† The tournament, held at the Daingerfield Country Club, consisted of eight six-person teams.† There was a two-way tie for first place between the Daingerfield Country Club Team and the team from Guaranty Bank and Trust. The tie breaker was settled on a score card play-off that was won by Daingerfield Country Club.

The Carroll Shelby Foundation recently gave $25,000 to support scholarships for students enrolled in the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program at 91²Ö¿â. Elliott Auto Group in Mount Pleasant recently donated a Ford F-250 truck to the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program at 91²Ö¿â. Velma Lee Buck Blount Williams Scholarship established at NTCC

Nancy Blount recently gave $500 to establish the Velma Lee Buck Blount Williams Memorial Scholarship at 91²Ö¿â. The gift was given by Nancy in memory of her late mother, Velma (pictured), a longtime Pittsburg resident. The scholarship will benefit an NTCC student from Camp or Wood counties. Chuck Barkow makes memorial gift to Whatley Campaign

Chuck Barkow recently gave $1,000 to sponsor two chairs in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91²Ö¿â. The seats are dedicated in memory of Jill Barkow and Holly Hardman.
